Partner with DecipherU
DecipherU is the AI-cybersecurity convergence career platform. Partnerships span universities, certification bodies, cybersecurity vendors, AI labs, and recruitment firms. Engagement is founder-led during the category-creation phase and routes through partnerships@decipheru.com.
Founder-led
Every partnership conversation runs through Julian Calvo personally during the category-creation phase. No partner-success layer between you and the founder.
Reciprocal value
We expect partnerships to surface measurable value on both sides: data, distribution, member outcomes, or category co-creation. Logo-swap arrangements are not the format.
Editorial independence
Partner logos do not buy editorial favor. Comparison pages, certification ROI, and Decipher Files remain independent of any commercial relationship.
Partnership directions
University partnerships
Examples. Northeastern University, Carnegie Mellon, Georgia Tech, University of Maryland Global Campus, Florida International, plus regional cybersecurity programs and applied AI graduate programs.
Shape. Career services co-distribution, guest lectures on AI-cybersecurity convergence careers, capstone project support, and methodology citation in graduate-level workforce courses. The DecipherU Framework is published at /methodology and may be cited in course readers.
Why this works. Career services teams report rising student demand for clarity on how AI changes cybersecurity roles. DecipherU answers that question with role-readiness data and convergence-area career maps that map cleanly to existing course outcomes.
Certification body partnerships
Examples. ISC2, ISACA, SANS, GIAC, CompTIA, Offensive Security, EC-Council, IAPP, plus emerging AI-security credential bodies.
Shape. Joint webinars on credential value in the AI-cybersecurity convergence, co-authored career-path mapping (which roles a credential opens, which it gates), and editorial collaboration on detailed certification guides. DecipherU never reproduces exam content; we cite official certifying body sources.
Why this works. Candidates increasingly choose credentials based on role outcomes, not credential prestige. DecipherU shows the role-readiness evidence and links readers back to official certifying bodies for current pricing and exam format.
Cybersecurity vendor partnerships
Examples. Palo Alto Networks, CrowdStrike, Microsoft Security, Splunk, Cisco, Fortinet, plus emerging AI-native cybersecurity vendors.
Shape. Career insights wrap for vendor certification programs, role-readiness mapping for vendor-specific roles, and collaboration on cybersecurity workforce reports. Vendor logos appear in editorial context only, never with implied endorsement.
Why this works. Vendor certification programs benefit from external career-path framing showing where the certification leads. DecipherU provides that framing with public methodology and BLS-grounded salary data.
AI lab partnerships
Examples. Anthropic, OpenAI, Google DeepMind, Mistral, Meta AI, plus applied AI research labs and AI safety organizations.
Shape. Talent pipeline relationships for AI safety, AI security, and AI governance roles. Editorial collaboration on the cybersecurity-for-AI convergence area at /cyber-for-ai. Joint research interest tracking on the role definitions emerging at the AI-security seam.
Why this works. The cybersecurity-for-AI talent market is too new to have established channels. DecipherU is mapping the role family from first principles and is positioned to surface candidates who cross both disciplines.
Recruitment firm partnerships
Examples. Cybersecurity-specialty recruiters, AI talent agencies, technical recruiting firms covering the convergence areas, plus in-house talent teams running cybersecurity + AI hiring at scale.
Shape. Role intelligence licensing, candidate readiness signals (with candidate consent), and editorial briefings on emerging role categories before they appear in job postings. DecipherU never reveals candidate data without explicit consent.
Why this works. Recruiters covering cybersecurity and AI need shared vocabulary for emerging convergence roles. DecipherU publishes the role family before the JD-writing convention catches up, giving partner firms a head start on positioning.
How to engage
Partnerships are founder-reviewed during the category-creation phase. There is no intake form by design. The five-step path keeps the signal high and the review fast.
- Email partnerships@decipheru.com with subject line 'Partnership inquiry' and the partnership category that fits.
- Include the organization name, your role, the size of the audience or candidate pool involved, and the outcome you want from the partnership.
- Note any compliance constraints (FERPA for universities, vendor MSA requirements, data residency for AI labs).
- Founder reply within five business days. If a fit is plausible, the next step is a 30-minute scoping call followed by a written summary of agreed scope.

Frequently asked questions
Does DecipherU pay or accept payment for partnership placements?
No paid editorial. Partnerships exchange value through audience reach, methodology rigor, talent flow, or editorial collaboration. Logos appear in editorial context only and never imply endorsement. Affiliate relationships, where they exist, are disclosed at /affiliates.
Can DecipherU partner with companies outside the United States?
Yes. The platform serves the LATAM cybersecurity workforce in Spanish and Brazilian Portuguese with role-readiness parity. EU, UK, Canadian, and APAC partnerships are routinely fielded. Data handling follows GDPR and the platform's published privacy framework.
How does DecipherU vet partnership fit?
Three criteria: alignment with the four-area architecture (cybersecurity careers, applied AI careers, AI for cybersecurity, cybersecurity for AI), audience or candidate quality, and editorial integrity compatibility. Founder reviews each inquiry directly. No automated routing to a sales pipeline.
Is there a partner portal or self-serve onboarding?
Not yet. Partnerships are founder-led during the category-creation phase to keep editorial integrity tight. A partner portal will appear once the partner count justifies the operational lift. Until then, every partnership is bespoke and routed through partnerships@decipheru.com.
