Who writes the questions
The practice questions and their explanations are written and reviewed by Julian Calvo. Each one names the standard it was written from, and you can read that standard after you answer. If a question is wrong, use the flag on it and say what is wrong; flagged questions are read by a person.
Where automated text is used
As of this relaunch, no public page on the site is produced by automated content generation. Older sections of the site that were generated in bulk have been taken out of the index and are being removed. Some signed-in features still call a language model, Anthropic's Claude, to explain a scenario or answer a question you type; the text those features return is model output, and the screen says so where it appears. Model output can be wrong. Check it against the source before you rely on it.
How future automated text will be labeled
If we ever publish text that a model wrote, the page will say so next to the text, with the date it was generated and who reviewed it. Text that says nothing was written by a person.
What the model sees
When a signed-in feature calls the model, the text you typed and the question in front of you are sent to Anthropic's API. Anthropic does not train on that data under our agreement. Nothing you do on the site is sent to any other model provider. Details on retention are on the what we keep page.
What no model decides
Your readiness reading is arithmetic over your answers, not a model's opinion. No model decides what you see, what you are told about your chances, or anything about you that leaves the site.
