Julian Calvo, Ed.D., MBA, M.S., is the founder and CEO of DecipherU, a cybersecurity career intelligence platform serving professionals from entry level to CISO. His doctoral research at the University of Miami focused on applied learning sciences and psychometric assessment design, which became the foundation for the DecipherU Framework. He holds a Master's in Organizational Learning and Leadership from Barry University and is completing a Master's in Applied AI at Northeastern University. Before DecipherU, Julian built career-design tools for higher-education institutions and consulted with cybersecurity teams on hiring psychology and skill-based evaluation. He writes about workforce development, assessment design, and the gap between what cybersecurity teams say they need and what they actually select for.
