Bespoke Intermedia LLC, a Florida limited liability company, operating as DecipherU. Effective September 1, 2026.
What DecipherU is
DecipherU is a free practice tool for cybersecurity certification exams. You answer practice questions, see which domains you are weak in, read the source each question was written from, set an exam date, and tell us how the exam went. The questions are written by Julian Calvo. By using the site you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use it.
What it costs
Everything on the site is free until September 2027. We are collecting data on what predicts passing, and that is worth more to us right now than a price. If anything on the site becomes paid after that, we will say so on the site and by email at least 30 days before it happens. Your practice history and any progress you have made stay yours and stay visible to you whether or not you ever pay for anything.
Who can use it
You must be 18 or older. You are responsible for anything done under your account and for keeping your sign-in details to yourself. One person, one account.
No guarantee of passing
Practice here does not guarantee that you will pass any exam. A readiness reading is our estimate from your answers, not a prediction we stand behind, and it has no bearing on how a certification body scores you. Exam content, rules and fees are set by the body that runs the exam and can change without notice; check with them before you register.
Not affiliated with any certification body
DecipherU is independent of CompTIA, ISC2, ISACA, IAPP, GIAC, AWS, Microsoft and every other organization whose exams are mentioned on the site. Their certification names are their trademarks. Nothing here is endorsed by, sponsored by, or written with any of them. Our questions are practice questions written from the public standards those exams cover; they are not real exam questions and we do not want you to send us any.
The data you give us and what we do with it
When you practice we record your answers, how sure you said you were, how long you took, which options you picked, whether you opened the source, any question you flagged, the exam date you set, the outcome you report, and your answers to the follow-up questions we send afterwards. We use this to work out which practice predicts passing, to improve the questions and the tool, and to publish findings as aggregates. We never sell it and we never publish anything that names you or could be traced back to you. Deleting your account deletes the records tied to it; aggregates already published stay published because nobody can be identified from them. The privacy page has the full list and how to opt out.
Your content
Notes you type, questions you submit and answers to profile questions are yours. You give us a non-exclusive licence to store them, use them to run the tool, and include them in aggregate research. If you submit a practice question you confirm that you wrote it and that it is not copied from a real exam.
Our content
The questions, explanations, code and design are owned by Bespoke Intermedia LLC. The standards we link to belong to the bodies that publish them. You may use the site for your own study. You may not copy the question bank, scrape the site, resell access, or use automated tools to pull content.
Paid plans, if we ever have them
Nothing on the site is sold today, so this paragraph is not in effect. It is here so you know what will apply if a paid plan is introduced after September 2027. Any subscription would renew automatically at the end of each billing period at the price shown when you subscribed, until you cancel. We would tell you the price, the billing frequency, and how to cancel before you pay, send a reminder before any renewal that follows a free or discounted period, and let you cancel online in as few steps as it took to sign up. Refunds would follow the refund policy in force at the time.
Things you may not do
You may not use the site to share real exam questions, to create several accounts, to interfere with other people's use, to impersonate anyone, or to break the law. We can close accounts that do these things.
Limits on our liability
The site is provided as is, without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for exam results, hiring decisions, lost income or any indirect loss arising from your use of it. Because the site is free, our total liability to you for any claim is limited to one hundred US dollars or the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim, whichever is greater. Some jurisdictions do not allow these limits, in which case they apply only as far as the law permits.
Indemnity
You agree to cover Bespoke Intermedia LLC, its members and staff for claims, losses and reasonable legal costs that come from your breach of these terms or your violation of someone else's rights.
Disputes
Any dispute arising from these terms or your use of DecipherU will be resolved through binding arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association under its Consumer Arbitration Rules. Arbitration will take place in Miami-Dade County, Florida, or remotely at your election. The arbitrator's decision is final and enforceable in any court of competent jurisdiction.
You agree that any dispute will be handled on an individual basis only, not as a class, consolidated or representative action, and you waive any right to take part in a class action or class-wide arbitration against Bespoke Intermedia LLC. Either party may instead bring an individual claim in small claims court in Miami-Dade County, Florida, for disputes within that court's limits.
Governing law and the rest
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, United States, without regard to conflict of law rules. If a court finds part of these terms unenforceable, that part is limited as far as needed and the rest stays in force. We may update these terms; when we do, the date at the top changes and, for material changes, we will tell you by email or on the site before they take effect.
