Are DecipherU's Spanish and Portuguese cybersecurity articles AI-translated?

Some are. The platform uses AI-assisted translation as a starting draft for Spanish and Brazilian Portuguese cybersecurity content, then routes the draft through a human review gate before any translation can render to public visitors. The translation_status field on each translation row allowlists 'approved' and 'human_reviewed' as the only render-eligible statuses; AI-only drafts never reach readers.

How do I know if a specific page was AI-translated?

Every translated page renders a disclosure footer noting the source language, the translation method (human-original, human-translated, AI-assisted-then-reviewed), and the date of the most recent review. Translation methodology

DecipherU publishes cybersecurity content in three locales: English (en), Spanish (es), and Brazilian Portuguese (pt-BR). This page discloses how Spanish and Brazilian Portuguese articles are produced, reviewed, and rendered.

Three production paths

Each Spanish or Brazilian Portuguese article is produced through one of three paths, and the path is disclosed on the page itself:

Direct-language original. Article written from scratch in Spanish or Brazilian Portuguese by a native or near-native author. No AI-translation pipeline involved.
Human-translated. Article originally written in English, then translated by a human translator with cybersecurity-domain familiarity. No AI involvement in the translation step.
AI-assisted-then-reviewed. Article originally written in English, run through an AI translation pass, then reviewed and corrected by a human reviewer with cybersecurity-domain familiarity before translation_status flips to approved.

AI-translation drafts that have not yet cleared human review have translation_status = 'draft' and are blocked from rendering by the platform's i18n loader. Visitors never see un-reviewed AI translations.

Disclosure footer on every translated page

Every Spanish or Brazilian Portuguese article renders a disclosure footer at the end of the article body. The footer states: source language, production path, reviewer attribution where applicable, and the date of the most recent review. Readers always know which path produced the content they are reading.

Direct-language originals are explicitly labeled as such with the author shown by name. Human-translated articles credit the translator. AI-assisted articles credit the human reviewer.

Regional calibration beyond translation

Word-for-word translation is insufficient for cybersecurity career intelligence. Salary data, certifications, regulatory environments, and employer landscapes vary across regions. DecipherU layers regional calibration on top of the translation pipeline:

Salary numbers sourced from INEGI (Mexico) and IBGE (Brazil) for ES and pt-BR pages, alongside the BLS baseline used for EN pages.
Certification pricing, exam availability, and renewal schedules verified against the certifying body's regional offering rather than copied from the EN page.
Employer examples reflect the region's hiring landscape — Mexican and Brazilian companies surface in pt-BR/es pages instead of US-only employers.

Inaccuracy reporting

If you identify a translation error, regional miscalibration, or domain-terminology issue on any Spanish or Brazilian Portuguese article, use the Report an inaccuracy link in the page footer. Reports route to the editorial review queue and surface in /admin/translations-reviewwith the offending article, the reporter's note, and a diff suggestion field.

Per the integrity guardrails: corrections to translated content are made within 14 days regardless of dispute outcome timing.
