RFI
Request for Information
An RFI is a preliminary document that organizations send to vendors to gather general product and company information. It precedes an RFP and helps narrow the vendor shortlist.
Cómo se usa en ciberseguridad
Cybersecurity SDRs and BDRs field incoming RFIs as early buying signals and route them to account executives. Sales engineers provide technical overviews in RFI responses to position the product favorably. Channel partners sometimes issue RFIs on behalf of their end customers during vendor evaluation.
