MBLEx
Massage therapists need a state license in most of the country, and the MBLEx is the licensing exam of the state boards' federation. It tests anatomy and physiology, kinesiology, pathology and contraindications, the effects of soft tissue work, client assessment and treatment planning, ethics and law, and professional practice.
Most states require massage therapists to hold a license, which typically means passing an exam, and the MBLEx is the licensing exam the state boards in the Federation of State Massage Therapy Boards use.
