Property and casualty insurance (Florida)
Agents who sell home, auto, business and liability insurance need a general lines license. The Florida 2-20 exam covers property and casualty policies, their terms and provisions, bonds, and Florida insurance law, including PIP, Citizens and hurricane deductibles.
Florida law makes it unlawful to sell or solicit insurance without a license from the Department of Financial Services, and every state has the same rule for its own license. Florida Statutes, Section 626.112 (License required).
