Una pregunta real del análisis completo

Así aparece en el informe cada pregunta que fallas. La pregunta, la respuesta correcta, la explicación y la fuente son reales. La respuesta que se muestra como tuya es un ejemplo, no son datos de nadie.

A municipal utility is building its first data classification scheme. The billing manager wants to classify the customer account file by how much effort it took to build. The security officer disagrees. What is the correct basis for assigning the classification level?

  • A The size of the file on disk, because larger files are harder to back up
  • B The impact to the organization and to individuals if the confidentiality, integrity, or availability of the data were lost
  • C The seniority of the person who created the data
  • D The age of the data, with older records always rated lower

Respuesta de ejemplo, marcada como segura: A · Respuesta correcta: B

Classification is a statement of impact. NIST SP 800-60 Vol. 1 Rev. 1 walks through categorizing information by the harm a loss of confidentiality, integrity, or availability would cause, rated low, moderate, or high, and the resulting label drives the handling rules that follow (who may see it, how it is stored, how it is transmitted, when it is destroyed). Option A rates the cost of backup, which is an operations concern and not a measure of harm. Option C ties sensitivity to the author, so an intern's copy of a customer list would be rated lower than the same list from a director. Option D ignores that some records, such as identity data, stay sensitive for decades.
