Smishing

SMS phishing, a social engineering attack delivered through text messages. Attackers send texts with malicious links or urgent requests (fake delivery notifications, bank alerts, MFA codes). Smishing exploits the trust people place in text messages and the small screen size that hides suspicious URLs.
