Cylance (BlackBerry)

Cylance pioneered the use of machine learning for pre-execution malware prevention when it launched in 2012. BlackBerry acquired Cylance in 2019 for $1.4 billion and rebranded the products under its BlackBerry Cybersecurity division. The technology now forms the core of BlackBerry's endpoint protection offering.
