BCP
Business Continuity Plan
A BCP is the documented strategy an organization follows to maintain essential functions during and after a disaster or major incident. It covers people, processes, technology, and facilities.
Cómo se usa en ciberseguridad
Security teams develop BCPs to ensure critical cybersecurity operations survive outages, ransomware attacks, and natural disasters. GRC analysts author and maintain the plan while incident responders execute it during crises. Organizations test BCPs through tabletop exercises and full failover drills at least annually.
